Dell, Inc. is seeking a MOSS Administrator to help manage the transition to a new platform by helping create the next generation workflows, designing master templates and metadata categories. As part of the Global Online team, the MOSS administrator will work in conjunction with project managers (migration), Content assistance Teams and IT to implement policies and metadata. Additionally, the MOSS administrator will collaborate closely with IT to create effective systems for publishing large amounts of content to one of the world’s largest e-commerce websites.
Job Role involves the following skills:
• Solid understanding of Microsoft SharePoint-related technologies including but not limited to: Windows SharePoint Services v3, Office SharePoint Server 2007 including upgrades and service packs, InfoPath. Forms Services, Workflow (Visual Studio Workflow solutions, SharePoint Designer Workflows and InfoPath), and Web parts.
• Master pages, Template and page layouts, Multi-language support
• Proficient in all aspects of advanced SharePoint (MOSS 2007) administration (Site creation, document libraries, etc., site collections,).
• Proficient in advanced SharePoint security levels and interaction with Active Directory.
• Ability to administer and tune SharePoint-related content indexing and enterprise search applications.
• Work with other IT Staff to monitor and tune the performance of SharePoint Servers as needed.
• Ability to administer user rights of the SharePoint content management system.
• Proficient in all typical SharePoint administrative activities such as back-up, restore, and site creation.
Skill Set Required:
• 4+ years of MS SharePoint Administration (03 or 07).
• Experience with SQL Query Development as it relates to SharePoint databases
• Experience with MOSS 2007 Workflow and integration with InfoPath
• DBA experience a plus
• Good communication skills
Education qualification
• BS degree or equivalent work experience in related field (Information Technology, Computer Science, etc)
